#Bhikkhunis or female monks receive alms (donated food and amenities) from residents of Nakon Pratom, #Thailand. Female monks are not recognized under Thailand's Theravada (Thailand's Buddhist sect) Sangha council. The council of monk leaders has rules preventing Thai monks from ordaining #women.
