As part of our #MENAstories series, this week we're reposting photos from @unicef_iraq taken by a group of Yazidi girls who took part in a photojournalism workshop in Iraq. ・・・

Earlier this year @unicef_iraq supported a photography workshop for a group of Yazidi girls who fled conflict in Sinjar and are now living in a camp near the city of Dohuk. The workshop helped create community, build confidence, and empowered the participants to tell their own stories.
In the lead-up to Universal Children's Day on 20 November, we're sharing some of their images to highlight the unique perspectives of these brave young women.
