Iran’s Hewraman mountainous region inscribed on World Heritage list
Tehran (ISNA) - Hewraman mountainous region has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as Iran's 26th world heritage site.
Hewraman mountainous region which is located within the provinces of Kurdistan and Kermanshah in western Iran, has become Iran’s 26th world heritage site after the World Heritage Committee voted in favor of its inscription on Tuesday.
Hawraman inscription comes a few days after The Islamic Republic of Iran Railways was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on Sunday during the extended 44th session of the World Heritage Committee underway in China, which is underway from 16 July until 31 July in the city of Fuzhou
