Local boys at the end of the week, close to the top of TV
Local boys at the end of the week, close to the top of TV Mountain - so named for of the antennae that have spiked its peak since billions of development dollars flowed into Afghanistan, along with foreign soldiers, in 2001. Not only has TV Mountain become the home for scores of antennae, it has also been made settled by thousands of families that have flocked to Kabul in the past decade and a half, in search of work, prospects or security. What were once bare mountain-sides are now wall-to-wall mud-brick homes, built illegally and largely without basic services. Andrew Quilty / Oculi. 4.6.2015. #kabul #Afghanistan #everydayeverywhere
