This is BTS ARMY. We as humans before being fans, would like to state our utmost disgust for the tone used in a recent 10Asia (텐아시아) article by the author Choi Ji-ye (최지예) titled < '음주운전' BTS 슈가, 경찰 포토라인은 단두대가 아니다 >

The tone used in the article is openly threatening a human, an artist. In this case, the artist happens to be BTS SUGA.
“다만, 슈가는 경찰서 앞 포토라인을 피해야만 하는 단두대라고 생각해서는 안된다.
앞선 가수 김호중의 사례처럼 취재진을 피하거나 따돌리는 경우가 발생하면 오히려 반성의 진정성에 대한 의심을 살 가능성이 높다.
중요한 것은 과거가 아닌 지금이고 미래다. 슈가는 자신의 잘못에 실망하고 분노한 이들을 어떻게 달래 돌이킬 수 있을지를 고민해야 한다. 또 한번의 실수는 안 될 일이다.”
This quote especially is openly a threat to the artist, and the reporter’s future actions and articles will be judged based on this threat. However this action of this reporter also makes TenAsia (텐아시아) and Korean Media to be seen as less reputable, and only causes an outrage.
Regarding this unprofessional journalism, we will be actively reporting this wrong practice to IFJ (International Federation of Journalists) and to the ethics committee.
Media is responsible for writing facts, not threats to non-authority figures and citizens. We request for this threat filled article that is solely based on resentful ideas and search for power, to be taken down and a public notice stating the article has been taken down.
Media should not be used as a guillotine (기요틴). It should be a source of information to the people.
