وقتی اسیران را آوردند رسول خدا آنها را بین یاران خود پخش کرد و فرمود «با اسیران به خوبی رفتار کنید.»

ابوعزیز بن عمیر،برادر پدر-مادری مصعب بن عمیر درمیان اسیران بود...
می‌گوید:وقتی از بدر باز می گشتند با گروهی از انصار همراه بودم و هرگاه غذای چاشت و شام خود را می آوردند،برای رعایت سفارش رسول خدا درباره ما(اسیران) به آنان ،نان را به طور ویژه به من می دادند و خود خرما می خوردند و به دست هیچکس از آنان(مسلمانان )قرص نانی نمی‌افتاد مگر آنکه از آن به من(اسیر) می دادند.
من شرمنده می‌شدم و به آنان برمی گرداندم و تا به دستشان می‌رسید،آن را به من بازمی‌گرداندند.

He says: When they were returning from Badr war , I was with a group of Ansar, and whenever they brought their lunch and dinner, in order to comply with the Messenger of God's order about us, they would give me the bread and eat dates themselves. they did None of them could get a loaf of bread when they gave it to me

I would get embarrassed and give it back to them, and when it reached them, they would give it back to me.
