#FollowFriday repost by @nicoletung: Actress Asena Tuğal on the set of #Filinta, while filming the last episode of Season 2 the other week. Turkey doesn't have its own name for Hollywood or Bollywood but each year churns out TV dramas that have become popular all across the Middle East and even Brazil. While Filinta is not aired worldwide yet, its producer Serdar Öğretici hopes to give the show a wider international audience like other Turkish TV series have. Filinta, a detective drama set in the late Ottoman Empire period airs on TRT1 and has won numerous awards in Turkey already. The set, east of central Istanbul, is 50 square meters in size making it the biggest set in Europe. Its cast includes several A-list actors in Turkey including Onur Tuna, Cem Uçan, Asena Tuğal, and Berrak Tüzünataç. ----
