یک‌ مسئول آمریکایی همین چند روز قبل از این میگوید که ایرانی‌ها گیر افتاده‌اند؛ ایرانی‌ها در قضایای هسته‌ای، با دستِ بسته پشت میز مذاکره حاضر میشوند. خب، این خطای محاسباتی است؛ ایرانی‌ها گیر نیفتاده‌اند، حالا شما در بیست ودوّم بهمن ان‌شاءالله خواهید دید ملّت ایران چه خواهد کرد و چه حضوری خواهد داشت؛ آن‌وقت معلوم میشود که آیا دست ملّت ایران بسته است؟
...ان‌شاءالله در بیست‌ودوّم بهمن، ملّت ایران نشان خواهد داد که کسی که ملّت ایران را بخواهد تحقیر کند، با ضربه‌ی متقابل ملّت ایران مواجه خواهد شد. همه‌ی ملّت ایران، همه‌ی دلسوزان، در این جهت متّفقند که عزّت ملّی برای یک کشور، بسیار بسیار مهم است. اگر عزّت بود، امنیت هم خواهد آمد؛ اگر امنیت بود، پیشرفت هم عملی خواهد بود.

The entire Iranians, all those who are concerned, unanimously agree that national dignity is very very important. If dignity exits, security will be provided; if security exists, development will also become achievable.
