Meeting of a Shia Muslim Scholar with one of Christian faith.

Ayatollah Mara'ashi's son recounts:
Getting ready for a meeting with known Christian philosopher Henry Corbin, late Ayatollah arranged a chair for his guest while he sat on the floor himself.
Upon his Arrival, out of respect for Ayatollah, Mr. Corbin chose to sit on the floor next to him. Ayatollah requested that Mr. Corbin sit on the chair saying: "Please sit on the chair since you are used to sitting on chairs, I'd like you to be comfortable".
And although it was month of Ramadan, Ayattolah requested that Mr. Corbin be served tea. Mr. Corbin mentioned that it is not necessary since it's the month of Ramadan. to which ayatollah said you are our guest and you have been traveling, without mentioning his Christian faith.
