The gigantic billboard around the Vaiasr sq. in the city
The gigantic billboard around the Vaiasr sq. in the city centre, which used to host apocalyptic artworks for some time, is displaying a poster of happy faces these days.
The poster which is claimed to include different walks of life in Iran and promise unity among all Iranians with different tastes and beliefs, seems to miss certain faces representing some other citizens: girls wearing head scarf and not chador, for example, or not bearded male adults, etc.
Also, other than the Hafez tomb and the Milad tower, the background is only filled with mosques to represent Iran's cultural heritage. | 21 May '16 | iPhone 6s | #aroundtehran #myaroundtehran_myqueen #everydayiran #thr #everydaytehran #tehranphoto #worldpressphoto #wpph16 #reportagespotlight
