A tiger chained to a tree playfully rolls on to its back

A tiger chained to a tree playfully rolls on to its back while photo-and video-journalists snap and film it and a dozen other tigers. This tiger and more than a hundred others at the Tiger Temple in #Kanchanaburi got their chips scanned last week by #Thailand 's Department of National Parks. The DNP was responding to accusations that that three tigers are missing. The results of their efforts will be announced this week hopefully. The temple, which is very popular with tourists, has been accused of #wildlife #trafficking, #animal abuse and #illegal breeding over the years but so far it has been able to keep the #tigers. #latergram Photo by @pailiner
