Due to blessing of Gen. Soleimani’s blood, Resistance movement now more thriving: Leader
Tehran (ISNA) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei met with the family of General Qassem Soleimani on Saturday on the second anniversary of his martyrdom in a terrorist attack by the US government.
“Due to the blessing of our dear General Soleimani’s blood, the Resistance movement is now more thriving and hopeful than two years ago,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
“Tens of millions of Iranians attending General Soleimani’s funeral shows he was and is the most popular figure in the nation. Also, the increasing influence of his name in the world of Islam proves dear Soleimani has been one of the most popular figures in the world of Islam too,” he added.
“Haj Qassem is a manifestation of endeavor and untiring, astonishing work. The heroic General of Iran had both courage and rationality in all affairs. While he knew precisely the enemies and their tools, he would enter the battlefield and carry out amazing tasks without a bit of fear,” the Leader noted.
“Enemies thought by martyring Soleimani, Abu Mahdi and their comrades everything is over. But today US has fled Afghanistan. Resistance is progressing in Yemen. The enemies are stuck in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. The Resistance movement is more thriving and hopeful than 2 years ago,” he went on to say.
