The Vision of ALLAH
Sheikh Farid once emerged from a well and reclined. His body was emaciated, and crows perched upon his forehead. 'Brothers crows,' he pleaded, 'spare my eyes. I may yet receive a divine vision.'
Perceiving him alive, the crows dispersed. He then descended back into the well, overcome with tears. Seeing his heartfelt sorrow, God Kabir, Allahu Akbar, descended from Satlok, drew Sheikh Farid from the well, and imparted the true mantra. Thereafter, Sheikh Farid's life was fulfilled.
