The rise of the movement
On November 1, 1356, the news of the death of Seyyed Mustafa, Imam's son, without a history of illness, caused astonishment. The doctor said that he was poisoned, the imam did not allow an autopsy and in a message called the situation of the country more dire. The tone of the Imam's message angered the Shah and he ordered to attack the Imam in the newspaper article. People protested against the imam's boldness and rose in Qom, which was met with repression. The cities of Iran were inflamed on the 40th anniversary of the martyrs of the previous cities, and the Imam gave messages for each of these events.
Revolution
With the peak of Imam's activities, the agents of the Iraqi government surrounded Imam's house and cut off access to it. With increasing pressure, they decided to go to Syria. It was not possible, so they went to Paris and gave interviews to mass media in Paris and explained the reasons and programs of the Islamic Revolution.
After years away from his homeland, Imam finally arrived in Iran on 12th of Bahman 1357, and on 15th of Bahman, he appointed Bazargan as the prime minister of the interim government and responsible for forming the cabinet. By issuing a notice about the military rule on 21 Bahman, they called it a hoax and asked the people not to pay attention to it, which led to the fruition of the movement and the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
On the 10th of March, they went from Tehran to Qom to settle there, people had come for kilometers to welcome them. From the very beginning, they insisted on holding a referendum until finally, on 10th Farudin 1358, the people overwhelmingly voted yes to the Islamic Republic.
On the 28th of May 1368, on the 2nd of June, the Imam underwent surgery. And finally, after about 10 years of leading the Islamic Revolution, on the night of the 13th of Khordad, Imam's soul rested forever
