A man walks by the destruction in the district of Bhaktapur, just outside of Kathmandu. Thousands of people have lost their lives and thousands more have been injured in a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal's capital and its surrounding areas on Saturday. The death toll right now is standing at 5,000 but is expected to rise as high as 10,000 in the next few days.
