RM Named Among the 20 Powerful Figures in the Korean Art Market!
The "Korea Art Market 2025" report, published annually by the Paradise Culture Foundation and Seoul National University's Management Research Institute, selected the 20 key figures driving the Korean art market for the first time this year. The list was selected based on a survey of major domestic gallery representatives, and there is no separate ranking.
RM was the only non-fine art figure to be named. RM, a renowned art enthusiast, will hold a special exhibition of his personal collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) in October next year. The report explained the selection of RM, saying, “He is a passionate art collector and cultural influencer. He frequently visits art museums and contemporary art exhibitions at home and abroad, and shares his experiences through social media, thereby increasing public interest in art.”
