An Indian Muslim father and son break their fast as they sit on a road divider during the month of Ramadan in the old quarters of New Delhi. Across the Muslim world, the faithful have been fasting from dawn to dusk, abstaining from eating, drinking, smoking and having sex during the month of Ramadan which ends with Eid al-Fitr marking the end of the holy fasting month. This is scheduled to fall in India on July 19, dependent upon the sighting of the moon.
