Khanahay runs half a dozen Karambol tables in a dusty corner of Shahr-e-Naw Park in the centre of Kabul. After he's set up of a morning he can be found sharing a joint with visitors in between chasing off young boys that can't afford to pay his rates. Karambol—a combination of air hockey and billiards—came from India in the 1970s. Khanhay crushes dry biscuits on to his tables to reduce the friction on the small, plastic discs. @andrewquilty / @oculi / @everydayasia. 3.3.2016. #kabul #afghanistan #everydayeverywhere #everydayafghanistan
