⭕بها فرید آیین زردشت را تصدیق میکرد اما برخی شعایر وی با آیین مجوس اختلاف داشت.چارپایان را نکشند،از ازدواج با محارم (خویدوده) بپرهیزند
رؤسای مجوس از این اصلاح طلب در نزد ابومسلم شکایت کردند
شاپور به پول نیاز داشت و بر آن شد تا این پول را از مسیحیان که مشمول خدمت لشکری نبودند و در ضمن به توطئه چینی با دشمن و جاسوسی متهم بودند بیرون کشد به دنبال آن تعقیب و آزار مسیحیان آغاز گردید که از سال ٤٠ - ٣٣٩ تا مرگ شاپور دوم در ۳۷۹ میلادی دوام آورد. دو فرمان صادر گردید که یکی در باب دو برابر شدن مالیات سرانه مسیحیان بود و دیگری در باب آنکه عبادت در کلیساها متوقف گردد و در صورت در ایستادن مسیحیان آنها را نابود سازند

⭕Baha Farid converted to Zoroastrianism, but some of his rituals conflicted with the Magian religion. He did not allow the killing of animals and forbade marriage with incestuous people.
The Magian leaders complained about this reformer to Abu Muslim.
Shapur needed money and decided to take it from Christians who were not subject to military service and were also accused of conspiring with the enemy and espionage. This led to the persecution of Christians, which continued from 339 to 40 until the death of Shapur II in 379 AD. Two decrees were issued, one about doubling the per capita tax on Christians and the other about stopping worship in churches and destroying Christians if they continued
